FIRST SLIDE Welcome to our school... where everybody matters Everyone Matters...

Welcome to Sheering School

Dear Parents and Carers,

I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Sheering Church of England Primary School and thank you for your interest in sending your child to our school.

We are a small, family school at the heart of village life in Sheering.  ‘Everyone Matters’ in our school; we value every member of our School community and we strive to ensure that everyone is given the opportunity to be the best they can be.

As a Church School we are very proud of our Christian ‘TERRIFIC’ values which underpin the whole curriculum in developing compassionate, courageous, independent and enthusiastic children within the context of a caring Christian community. An engaging curriculum and a wide variety of musical, sporting and creative opportunities enable our children to develop into happy and confident young people, equipped to face the challenges of life in the twenty first century.

We believe that your involvement in this process is crucial and we will provide frequent opportunities to keep you informed about the progress of your child. We are keen to have parental involvement at all levels, and if you have any time to come into school and work with us, you will be made very welcome.

The staff and Governors are also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children.

Yours sincerely,

Lorna Brittaine
Headteacher
